Bandai Namco and Dimps have announced that Goku (Mini) from Dragon Ball Daima will be added to the roster of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 in the upcoming second chapter of the game's Future Saga DLC expansion. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 continues to receive updates, with both paid and free content being periodically added by Dimps and Bandai Namco. Some of the recent additions to the game include characters from Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero, such as Videl and Gohan, alongside Gohan’s Beast transformation for customizable characters.

The game’s current focus is on a four-part expansion called the Future Saga, where the villain Fu is conducting experiments on the Dragon Ball timeline, creating intriguing “What If” matchups. The first chapter of this expansion, released in May, introduced scenarios like Universe 6 intervening in the battle against Goku Black and Vegeta obtaining Super Saiyan God at the same time as Goku. The second chapter teases a showdown between the Gods of Destruction and the Pride Troopers from Dragon Ball Super.

Chapter 2 will also feature content from Dragon Ball Daima. A new trailer from Bandai Namco showcases Goku (Mini) joining the roster, with a move set inspired by his appearance in the anime. His combat style focuses on the use of his Power Pole, which can extend to deliver long-range attacks. Players will also gain access to an equipable skill based on one of Goku (Mini)'s rush attacks, allowing customizable characters to wield the Power Pole in battle. While the release date for Chapter 2 hasn't been confirmed yet, a limited free trial will offer players a chance to try Goku (Mini) in-game.

Dragon Ball Daima follows the story of Goku and his friends being transformed into young children due to a wish made on Earth’s Dragon Balls by the Demon King Gomah. As they search for a way to reverse the wish, they encounter new characters like Glorio.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 isn’t the only game receiving Daima-themed content. Sparking Zero will feature characters like Vegeta (Mini) and Glorio as part of its Season Pass, and Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will also introduce Daima DLC, where Goku and friends explore the Demon Realm. Fans are eagerly awaiting the new content for all three games, especially the next chapter of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2's Future Saga DLC.
