The overall aim is to address climate change at a Community level through decarbonising the Tamfourhill Community Hub by installing a sustainable and renewable energy system , in line with the recommendations contained within the Energy Audit carried out by Business Energy Scotland. This will be achieved through:
•The installation of a 24kW air to water source heatpump system.
•Installing 10 kWp roof mounted solar PV system.
•A 5-kWh battery storage system.
•Energy Efficient measures including - LED lighting, cavity wall insulation, loft insulation, draft proofing and heating controls.
